I like many other supporters of President Obama was extremely disappointed in what I perceived as a weak debate performance. Here was a sitting president of the United States who spent more time looking at his notes than challenging the right wing rhetoric of Mr. Romney. The focus of my disappointment was the refusal to raise the issues taped at the $50,000 a plate dinner with Republican supporters. I was primed to see a forceful presentation of the question “Mr. Romney, in a private setting when your audience were a bunch of rich fat cats who share your view of the world – you were recorded as saying that you did not care about 47% of the American public – that they are dependent upon the government, assuming no responsibility for self-support.” In the recesses of my mind, this was the crowning question for the debate and it was not even asked.
What I did not consider was that obviously Mr. Romney had been prepped with a response that had been rehearsed to be given at the first opportunity, and he looked forward to the world stage to issue the prepared response. Since the debate there have been retractions but they have not had the ‘world audience’ and the atmosphere that was present on Wednesday night. Can you imagine the talking heads and the headlines on Thursday morning, including Mr. Romney’s complete retraction and explanation for his remarks? But he was denied the opportunity because President Obama did not bring it up and Romney could not think of a way to raise the issue without being prompted; brilliant!
“Right Wing Rhetoric”????? Oh I get it, Your President sucked at the debate so it has to be “Right Wing Rhetoric”!!!! Maybe it was the thin air that high up in Denver or better yet he was pondering some important news he just received and was distracted!!
There were questions that should have been asked such as “Mr President, what was your relationship to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright” or “Werent you friends with a terrorist William Ayers that bombed public buildings” or “Mr President does the govt. pay for cell phones to go to the poor that have pimped out cars yet dont work” or this would be nice to know “Mr President why the hell are you saying sorry to the Isalmic world after they attack and kill American Citizens”

Lets hope the Republican/Tea Party kick out the Left because I dont want to be sitting in a Mosque on Sundays!!!

1) are you saying that the four questions I would have asked Obama are not important????? Does the Pres. take the day off on his anniversity night? Please send his wife a thank you card for allowing her husband to take part in a important debate.
2) “Habitual liar” no… President Clinton, now he was a Habitual liar by saying such things as “I didnt have sex with that woman” let alone in the White House!!!
3) As for the “stupid” comment…..Im actually thinking that you may feel it’s ok to hang around and be preached to by outstanding community leaders such as the Rev Wright and William Ayers?????
